Turquoise Illuminated

Turquoise was Pantone’s Color of the Year in 2010, and still reigns (in my opinion)as one of the most versatile, vibrant Hues out there. Turquoise can be incorporated into any room you are vibing, and what better P.O.T (pop of Turquoise) than a fabulous light fixture?

This Marjorie Skouras (for Currey and Co.) Beaded Chandelier blends and Wow’s in a variety of homes, and adds a unique touch to each design style.

Neon Nirvana: bring on the brights!

There are so many ways for us to find design inspiration today, and if you don’t know what inspires you,just start looking around you, people watching, shopping, reading, etc…

you’ll feel what inspires you when you see it

(and vise versa).

Sidenote: it just might be NEON.

I tried to ignore the neon hype for awhile, but the urge only became stronger (sort of like dieting and staring at the cookie jar all day-not gonna work). Now I’m in trouble, because I want to transform every room in my house into a neon oasis.

However, the goal here isn’t to turn your home into an 80′s throwback or to make it look like Pee Wee’s playhouse, so let neon be the Wow factor in the room and compliment these vivid colors with neutrals, wood-tones and some sophistication.
